A YouTube video has gone viral for featuring one of the cutest proposal stories we’ve seen yet!
Terry, an Australian man with a keen hand for crafting, made his girlfriend, Anna, a beautiful heavy pendant of Tasmanian pine and sea shell.
He gave it to her for their one-year anniversary and she wore it ever since. But what she didn’t know was that the adorable handmade gift had a hidden secret.
Deep inside the wood, Terry had placed a diamond ring.
Avid travelers, the paid had always wanted to visit a remote cave in Scotland called Smoo Cave – which got its name from an ancient Norse word meaning ‘hiding place’.

Finally there, a year and a half after gifting Anna the ring, Terry asks it back from her and cracks it open with his knife, revealing the sparkling diamond ring inside.
‘I took the necklace from my pocket, kneeled, broke it open and revealed that something was hidden inside the entire time.’
Anna immediately says yes but is horrified that she could have lost it during that whole time as she wore the necklace constantly. Terry admits he shared this fear as well.

‘My biggest moment of panic was when we went through airport security the first time,’ he told MailOnline.
‘I hadn’t thought about the fact that she might be asked to put it through the X-Ray, which could have very quickly turned into an airport security proposal!’
