Marshmallow Brownies with Nutty Topping

Classic brownies topped with marshmallows and nuts make for a decadent dessert.

Method

1.

Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan forced). Grease and line an 18cm x 28cm slice pan with baking paper. Make brownie mix according to packet directions using margarine, eggs and water. Pour into slice pan and bake for 30 min or until cooked when tested with a skewer.

2.

Remove brownie from oven and immediately sprinkle over choc bits, marshmallows and almonds. Return to the oven for a further 5-7 min or until marshmallows soften. Remove and cool completely in pan over a wire rack. Cut into squares to serve.
