A video shared on social platform Reddit has shown a female shaving her legs in a busy hotel pool, and it has sparked outrage.
The footage shows several children swimming, while a woman sits on the edge of the pool and proceeds to shave her legs.
It is not known where the photo was taken but since it was posted 15 hours ago by a user called Screwsausage it has been upvoted more than 54,000 times and has attracted around 1650 comments.
One user wrote, ‘That is so disgusting,’ with another adding, ‘Imagine the inadvertent gulp of water that sometimes happens when you’re swimming…with all the shaved hair in it.’
While the footage is shocking, hotel pool staff claimed it was nothing compared to what they have previously witnessed.
One commenter, who used to work at a hotel pool, wrote: ‘I used to work at a public pool and for whatever reason they attract the worst of humanity.
‘I would never swim in a public pool after that experience.’
