Officers at the Waco Police Department in Texas were amused when they got a call from a woman demanding her chicken nuggets should be free because she had been waiting too long.
According to a post on Facebook, two officers attended a call at a fast-food drive-through where a woman was furious that her chicken nuggets weren’t ready.
She said she had waited so long she shouldn’t have to pay for them. When the store refused to give her the food for free, she phoned the police.
The post says that in the end, she did not get her nuggets for free. A Sergeant Swanton signed off the Facebook with the cheeky sentiment:
‘Waco PD, where life is never normal.’
