A woman allegedly ‘persuaded’ two of her lovers to brutally murder her ex-lover by feeding his body through a woodchipper.
57-year-old Sharon Graham was one of three people charged with the murder of Bruce Saunders, 54, who died after his body was fed through a woodchipper on a rural property near Gympie, Queensland on November last year.
Police will allege Ms Graham, from Sunshine Coast, masterminded the alleged killing, and came up with a plan for her co-accused Greg Lee Roser, 59, and Peter John Koenig, 61, to murder him and cover it up as a farm accident, the Sunshine Coast Daily reported.
The death was originally treated as an accident, but police opened a murder investigation when new details came to light.
Police will further allege Ms Graham was romantically linked to all three men at various times.
Despite not physically being with him on the day of his death, police will allege Ms Graham conspired to murder Mr Saunders.
Ms Graham, Roser and Koenig all fronted court separately on Tuesday, charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.
