For most kids, a trip to see Santa is a treat.
But not for two-year-old Isla Proust.
When mum Lauren took the toddler, from Long Jetty, to see Santa at Bateau Bay Square, she wasn’t sure how it would go.
‘She’s has always disliked him,’ Lauren told the Central Coast Express Advocate.
But Isla was excited about joining her cousins on the trip – until she actually laid eyes on Santa sitting on his chair.

Rather than climbing on his knee, the little girl screamed and hid behind the seat.
And, despite Lauren and Santa’s efforts to cheer Isla up, this was the best snap of the day:
