A New York eatery is being accused of taking things too far after launching their flagship menu item – a spaghetti donut!

Created by Pop Pasta – the donuts are made by taking pasta dishes, mixing them with egg and cheese – fritatta style – and then deep-frying them in the shape of a donut. 

Currently available flavours include carbonara, bolognese, aglio e olio, and zucchini.
