An Atlanta Hawks’ fan was caught on camera as he popped the question at a basketball game.
When the stadium kiss camera landed on him, he planted one on his girlfriend and then got down on one knee.
But as he presented the ring to her, it was knocked right out of his hands.
Excited, a nearby spectator had jumped up and thumped the man on the back in congratulations.
The man’s fiancé launched herself at the offending bystander while everyone else started searching frantically for the missing ring.
The video was shared to the Atlanta Hawks’ Twitter page.
It’s not known whether the couple found the ring.
