Locals on the Indonesian island of Seram were baffled when the body of a giant sea creature washed up on their shores.
The 15m long carcass turned the waters around the island red, but left residents scratching their heads as to what it could be.
Experts initially thought it was a giant squid, but now believe it could be a baleen whale based on the ridges which seem to run along the body.
Whatever the animal was, it’s definitely terrifying now! And it’s left social media users baffled.
