A horrified mother has shared photos of her daughter’s injuries after she participated in an alarming school craze.

Jamie Prescott took to Facebook to share photos of her daughter Ellie’s arm, which was covered in angry red burns.

Ms Prescott shared the images on Facebook as a warning to other parents.

‘For any parents who have children, please, please sit them down and show them these pictures,’ she wrote.

‘These are the damaging results of something known as ‘the deodorant challenge’ which is currently doing the rounds… and literally involves spraying deodorant onto someone else for as long as possible. It’s that simple and results in severe secondary burns.’
