Bad news for Aussie garlic bread fans
Garlic bread lovers face a shortage of the Italian favourite after a product recall.
George Weston Foods, which supplies garlic bread to Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and some supermarkets, was forced to stop production when pieces of Teflon were found in a margarine blender filter.
They quickly identified batches that could have been contaminated and ordered a recall of any affected bread.
Domino’s has removed Traditional Garlic Bread from its menu until further notice.
