An eight-year-old boy who gave his teacher a heart-wrenching suicide note has turned to art therapy to heal his depression.
Sydney boy Jack Wilkinson was ‘relentlessly bullied’ at school and suffered from crippling anxiety.
His emotional torment came to a head when Jack left a note on his teacher’s desk which read: ‘God, please take me,’ News.com.au reports.
And that night, the young schoolboy wrote ‘I don’t want to be alive’ on his bedroom floor and pillow in marker.
Luckily, his mother Kristy Sturgess found a healthy outlet for her son.
The now nine-year-old boy uses his drawings to help calm himself down and ease his anxiety.
Ms Sturgess even helped Jack transform his artwork into t-shirts, which feature his favourite drawings.
The pair manufacture and sell his t-shirts to help raise money for Kids Helpline.
