A 50-year-old woman from Western Australia had to be rescued from Perth’s Swan River today after driving her Camry into the water.
The West Australian reported that the car dropped two meters from the embankment into the water, causing a large splash which attracted passersby.
Two people climbed into the river to help the woman climb out of her car.
She was uninjured, but shaken by the event.
She told police she lost control of the car when she was checking her GPS directions.
