A Grade 7 boy has been charged with armed robbery after holding up a Gold Coast service station.

Just after 9pm, the 12-year-old threatened the female staff member with a bread knife, escaping on foot with hundreds of dollars in cash, according to Yahoo7.
Police found the boy at a nearby home, recovering all the stolen money.
No one was injured during the incident.
