A mum has been accused of killing her baby daughter by rubbing heroin on her gums to get her to sleep.

According to The Metro, court papers say that Kimberley Nelligan, 33, used the drug on her one-year-old girl, Jordy, at least 15 minutes before the bub died in October 2018.

It was an emergency crew that found the baby dead at her home in Bangor, Maine, US.

A corner then determined that the young girl had synthetic opioid fentanyl in her system, a powerful painkiller that’s often mixed with heroin and is 50 times more powerful.

It’s reported that the mother had confessed to using heroin once a week in the months leading up to her daughter’s death.

The child’s dad apparently told police he’d seen Nelligan rub it on the girl’s gums. He also said that the mum explained she’d done the same to her older children to get them to sleep, saying, ‘You know I didn’t hurt our daughter on purpose.’

Since the allegations, Nelligsn had posted various snaps of drugs and drug paraphernalia in June this year, captioning the post with ‘Yay buddy.’

And when cheerleader Skylar Richardson, 20, was cleared of murdering her baby last week, Nelligan wrote: ‘Kills me i would do anything to have my baby back stupid bitch she is.’
