Authorities have removed five children from their Alabama home after police alleged their mother and grandparents had kept them locked in cages.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, a welfare check conducted by authorities at the property ‘revealed evidence that the children had been locked in the cages on multiple occasions.’
The children aged between eight months and 11-years-old were removed from their home before their mother, Kylla Michelle Mann and grandparents, Pamela Deloris Bond and James H. Bond were arrested on various charges.
All three were charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse of a child less than six years of age and two counts of reckless endangerment, while Pamela also faces one count of tampering with evidence.
