The love potion
This potion is best made on a Friday, the day sacred to Venus – the planet of love.
First, find a large dish. In the centre, place a glass of water. Around the glass, add any of the following; rose petals, rose quartz crystals, violets, basil, daisy, mint or lavender. You can also add a drawing of a heart or a heart shaped locket. If there is someone in mind that you desire love from, add their photo or simply write their name on a piece of paper. Otherwise, cut out a photo from a magazine of the kind of person you want in your life. Then go straight to step two.
The money potion
This potion is best made on a Thursday, which is sacred to Jupiter – the planet of abundance. Follow the steps above but this time around the glass place pungent spices and herbs, such as basil, cinnamon, mint and bay leaves, to attract prosperity. Add some coins and a picture of what you desire, such as a new car or home. Proceed to step two.
Step two
Sprinkle a little salt and sugar over the objects. Now put the whole arrangement in a place where the light of the sun, the moon and the stars can shine on it for exactly 24 hours. Then remove your glass of water from the magic circle, hold it to your heart, and think about what you desire. Finally, drink all the water, every little drop, and as you do so, imagine your wish has already come true.
