A Canadian daredevil was captured moving his lawn while an enormous tornado swirled towards him.

Cecilia Wessels took the incredible photo of her husband, Theunis, cutting the grass as the whirlwind swirled near their home in Three Hills.

Despite the tornado appearing to be looming close by, Theunis assured his wife and nine-year-old daughter that it was heading in the opposite direction.

But the photo quickly went viral, with people puzzled by his daring actions.

‘It looks much closer if you look in the photo, but it was really far away. Well, not really far, far away, but it was far away from us,’ Theunis told the Times Colonist.
