A mum-of-four who took her children’s phones away at night has revealed that the plan backfired spectacularly.
Michelle Giggler wanted to limit her kids from accessing their phones and tablets at night in the hope that they would sleep better.
But it appears the children, aged between eight and 13, didn’t take kindly to having their devices confiscated and set up a plan to get back at their mum.
‘I collect all phones and iPads from the kids at night and keep them in my room,’ she posted on Twitter.
‘Last night those little ***holes all set alarms to go off at various times throughout the night. I’m impressed with their ingenuity and team effort. They’re all grounded.’
Michelle’s hilarious story was well received, with over 43,000 people re-tweeting the post.
But, of course, many were quick to pass judgement on the Oregon mum of four.
‘Why waste money purchasing them if you can’t even trust their judgement,’ one person commented.
But Michelle was quick to defend her actions.
‘Because they’re kids and they need boundaries,’ she replied.
