Lauren Ann DeBenedetta, 38, owned and taught at her own dance studio until recently when accusations of alleged inappropriate behaviour with a female student surfaced.
The accusation is based on the claims made by the girl’s stepfather who returned home to check on his apparently ill stepdaughter, reports NBC2.
It is alleged that the married teacher, DeBenedetta, was hiding in the girl’s room, naked, when her stepdad walked in.
The student has stated in an affidavit that the two kissed and performed other sexual acts and that this wasn’t the first time, reports news.com.au.
