A woman determined to bravely document her cancer battle has died.
Lisa Magill, 34, from Brisbane was diagnosed with a rare stomach cancer four years ago. In February 2016, after being told she would not recover from the disease, she decided to blog about her final months.
In an announcement on the Facebook page ‘Terminally Fabulous’, Lisa’s mum Geraldine broke the news that her charismatic daughter had passed way.
‘Tonight at 11.50 our gorgeous girl was wrapped in the wings of an angel and joined her friends and family in heaven,’she wrote.
‘Lisa’s passing was so peaceful, slipping away in her sleep without pain nor fear.’
Lisa’s final post to her page, just four days before she died, explaining how grateful she was to the readers of her blog, and her deep love for them.
‘You kept me going and you gave me strength and you gave me the power that I needed when I didn’t think I had any left in me,’ she says.
‘We love you loads and stay fabulous.’
