When Thomas Keating, 22, and his girlfriend Emily Collier, 20, booked jestskis in Thailand they had no idea that the day would end so tragically.
In a split second their world shattered when Keating’s jetski hit Collier’s head-on, causing devastating head and shoulder injuries. She was pronounced dead at a Phuket hospital a short while later.
In a heartbreaking post of Facebook, Keating has written a touching tribute to his girlfriend.
‘My beautiful girl!’ it begins.
‘Taken from us far too soon! I love you so much Emily and I wish I could just bring you back into my arms.’
‘Rest easy Emily I’ll never forget you.’
Ms Collier’s parents are expected to arrive in Thailand to collect her body soon. Police are investigating the cause of the accident, which may see Keating face charges of reckless driving causing death.
