A man has caused a stir after tucking into KFC just metres from vegan protestors in Sydney’s CBD.
Filmed footage shows the bloke digging into a box of the popular fried chicken chain while activists stood blindfolded with screens attached to them.
The scene was caught on camera and uploaded to the video sharing app TikTok, causing the clip to quickly go viral.
In the video, the person filming can be heard laughing as the unknown man gets ready to devour a piece of chicken.
According to Yahoo News, the vegan group is Anonymous for the Voiceless – the protestors often target busy city areas, sharing animal exploitation clips and often wearing Guy Fawkes masks.
Since being uploaded three days ago, the video has received over 260,000 likes.
But it’s resulted in a divided opinion from people.
One person wrote, ‘Why do people make fun of people that love animals?’
Many also described the man as ‘childish’.
However, others praise his behaviour, with one person writing, ‘The hero we didn’t know we needed but the hero we got.’
