A house for sale on website Right Move has attracted a lot of attention for a very strange reason.
Listed as a ‘5 bedroom detached house’, the property in London, UK is for sale for over $2.5 million AUD.
On face value for brick facade looks like any other British home, but on closer inspection the property has a very unique selling point: hundreds of plug sockets!
The property description gives no indication as to why the house has so many plug sockets, instead describing how much natural light the ‘family haven’ has: ‘The dining room enjoys a bay window adding a natural flow of light into the property. To the rear aspect is a reception room which benefits a fire place.’
Since going online, photos of the property have sent the internet into a spin with people speculating why the house has so many plug sockets.
‘Thinking about buying this house, but I’m not sure it has enough plug sockets,’ joked one person on Twitter.
‘The electricity bill for the quarter must have been £1,452,092,’ added another.
Do you have any idea why anyone would need quite so many sockets in a family home? We don’t!
