A father has been charged with second-degree murder after admitting to killing his five-month-old son.
The horrific incident occurred in April this year, when Matthew Hosier deliberately dropped his son Gus headfirst onto the floor.
Hossier told investigators that he was frustrated that his baby was ‘being difficult’ so he dropped him. Gus died from blunt force trauma several days later.
In an obituary shared after his death, Gus was described as a sweet, beautiful baby, a source of joy to his parents and beloved by all who knew him.’
‘He loved riding on his daddy’s shoulder,’ it read.
It’s reported that Hossier has been ordered to refrain from contact with his wife who is currently pregnant.
However, his lawyer has stated that the order isn’t necessary as his wife supports him.
