Meghan Markle’s crazy work ethic is reportedly causing tension inside the palace walls.
The pregnant royal – who is only six months into her new role of the Duchess of Sussex – is said to wake up early and ‘bombard’ her aides with messages.
According to The Sun, Meghan wakes up at 5am every morning and sends up to seven text messages to her staff with ideas on how to ‘shape her role’.
A royal insider also revealed her antics have caused the Duchess to be labelled as ‘difficult’.
‘Meghan can be difficult. She has very high standards and is used to working in a Hollywood environment,’ the source told The Sun.
‘However, there’s a different degree of respect in the royal household and Kate has always been very careful about how she has acted around staff.’
There are also claims the Duchess conducts ‘undercover meetings’ with her aides.
But it is not just Meghan’s treatment of staff that has been raising eyebrows around the palace.
The 36-year-old often breaks royal protocol with her bold fashion choices – including wearing black, exposing her shoulders and refusing to wear tights under dresses.
