A teenage foster child has been sentenced after he tortured a six-year-old girl to death while he was supposed to be in charge of babysitting her.
Antonio Evans was just 14-years-old when he beat Destine King and her two siblings aged seven and nine at the time.
All three children were in foster care when they were set on by Evans who had been left in charge of taking care of the kids.
While their foster mum was at work, Evans punched, kicked and whipped the children with a belt, leaving Destine vomiting and passing out after three days of torture.
She sustained injuries to her liver, pelvis, vagina, brain and back and died just five days after the abuse.
Now aged 18, Evans admitted to charges of second degree murder and aggravated child abuse.
He has been jailed for 30 years.
