A cheeky woman has captured a photo grinning for the camera while her sister screams in pain during labour.
New aunt, Kat Armendariz, was in the delivery room with her sister, Kimberly, while she decided to get snap happy.
Posting the snap to photo-sharing site, Imgur, users were quick to comment on the controversial snap, with most seeing the funny side.
‘This is the ultimate sibling photo. Going to show it to my sister!’ one commented.
‘If someone took my picture while I was in labor, I would make a point of keeping my placenta just so I could throw it at them,’ quipped another.
While some thought the photo was insensitive to her sister, Kat was quick to clear things up.
‘She wasn’t in too much pain at first, so she thought it was pretty funny. I told her I was going to do it,’ she told Mashable.
We can’t help but wonder if she’ll still be smiling if she ever gives birth to a baby herself!
