Tweezers have been the go-to removal method for ages, but there is a new suggestion. Using sprays, such as those used for warts and skin tags, to freeze the area, is the best option to help avoid an allergic reaction.

Spray or apply the freezing agent and leave time to kill the tick before removing. If you know you are allergic, spray the tick and head to a hospital or GP.
