Although generally frowned up, sometimes the temptation to cheat during a game of Monopoly is too irresistible.
Aware of this, Hasbro is bringing out a version of the popular board game which encourages cheating.
Monopoly: Cheater’s Edition, features 15 cheat cards encouraging moves that are frowned upon – as long as you don’t get caught.
Getting caught simply means paying a small fine. While on the other hand, getting away with it means being rewarded with property or cash.
“So in 2018, we decided it was time to give fans what they’ve been craving all along — a Monopoly game that actually encourages cheating,” Hasbro’s Senior Vice President Jonathan Berkowitz told Insider.”
“We’ve finally decided to embrace our less-than-honest fans by encouraging them to partake in those iconic Monopoly moments that occur during family game nights.”
