Get ready to hear these names a whole lot more in NSW primary schools.
NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages has identified the top 100 baby names for boy and girls used in 2017.
According to the results, Oliver is the most common name for boys after taking top spot for the fourth year in a row last year with William coming in at second place.
In keeping in line with royal fever Charlotte was the most used name for girls followed closely by Olivia.
BDM Registrar Amanda Ianna said: ‘We are seeing little change in the most popular names, but there definitely seems to be a Royal flavour in the air’.
