Let’s face it – back in the day it wasn’t unusual for kids to get teased about having freckles. Kids can be so cruel!

Well it seems times have changed with this latest beauty trend – that not only celebrates the freckle – but helps the freckle-free get in on the action!

Los Angeles-based company, Faux Freckles have come up with a unique way to recreate the look without exposing yourself to sun-damage.

Adhesive sheets quite literally print a smattering of faux spots onto the chosen area of your face.

And they come in different colours, too. From light brown, to dark brown, there’s even a luminescent 24k gold packet if you’re feeling fancy.

Applied with warm water onto a clean face and dry skin, the stencilled pattern is said to last for between 24 and 48 hours.

The single-use freckle packs retail for around $30 a set and contain two nose and four cheekbone stencils.
