It’s that time again.
On Wednesday Oct. 3 Aldi unleashes another of its Special Buys on to the market – and if there’s one thing we know already, it’s that stocks won’t last long.
This time around, budget-conscious Australians can pick up such delights as an Industrial style entertainment unit for $129, a two-seater sofa for $249.
For parents there’s a range of items up for grabs. Including a wooden high chair for $79.99 and a Mother’s Choice three-wheel stroller for $129.
‘Please note stocks are limited and will vary between stores,’ Aldi acknowledges on its website.
‘Despite our careful planning, we apologise if selected items may sell out on the first day due to unexpected high demand.’
In the event of unexpected high demand, Aldi the right to limit purchases to reasonable quantities, the website states.
Speaking to news.com.au, an Aldi spokesman has addressed the age-old question of why they run out of the much-loved items so quickly.
‘Aldi Australia’s Special Buys have become incredibly popular with Australian shoppers and are just one way we distinguish ourselves from other supermarkets,’ the spokesman explained.
‘Our weekly Special Buys are ordered months in advance and are intended to be on sale for one week in a bid to keep our range fresh and interesting.’
So is it time to get those elbows out?
