He is already a convicted killer

A convicted murderer has been accused of pouring acid on a woman and forcing her to have sex with her 11-year-old son.

Police say that Jerry Gilligan, 72, inflicted the horrific abuse on a female relative in Kingman, Arizona, during September 2016.

They say that wheelchair-bound Gilligan tied the woman and her son up, before pouring battery acid into the woman’s eyes and taping their mouths shut.

The Metro reported that prosecutors claim, he beat them with a wooden stick, taped their hands and feet together and shaved their heads.

He then made them perform sex acts on him and each other, which he filmed and took photos of.

The four days of hell came to end when the woman was taken to hospital with horrendous injuries and revealed to doctors what had happened.

Evidence collected at Gilligan’s home makes police believe the woman and child suffered two years of torture from the man.

Gilligan, who burnt and beat his stepdad to death in 1980, was arrested and charged with counts including sexual conduct with a minor under 12, aggravated assault by domestic violence and kidnapping.

He already spent 25 years in jail for the murder of stepdad Walter Bopp and was freed in 2014.

Gilligan’s relationship to his latest victims has not been revealed. He is currently in jail without a bond.

The Mohave Daily News reported that prosecutor Jacob Cote and defense attorney Sandra Carr are ready to put Gilligan on trial.

He will appear at Mohave County Superior Court on October 29.
