A rogue wallaby has made a mad dash across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the strange ordeal has been caught on film.
The quick moving wallaby was filmed by NSW police who were attempting to catch it. Footage shows one officer attempting to stop the wallaby as it tried to make its way down the North side of the bridge.
Police were eventually able to capture the frightened animal, and it has since been taken to Taronga Zoo to be checked.
The swamp wallaby that was spotted crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge this morning is now on a drip and had pain relief medication administered after arriving at @tarongazoo in a distressed state. Report on 7 News at 6pm. https://t.co/NVwzKykPOm #Wallaby #7News pic.twitter.com/Ut9lutkRAH

An unusual start to the day with reports of a wallaby crossing the #Sydney Harbour Bridge from the North Shore. It’s been contained by police, my guess is they’ll be fining it for failing to pay the toll. #Kangaroo #Wallaby #SHB #Australia
