Using a $29 Kmart pie maker, the woman explained how she created Tim Tam pies with just three ingredients.

‘Forgive me as I am about to sin! Overload much! But delicious,’ she wrote in a Facebook group.

The woman then revealed she made the super Aussie treats by crushing up Tim Tams inside sheets of shortcrust pastry, then adding two blueberries.

Although she described them as ‘delicious’, there were a few changes she’d make if she did them again.

‘Next time I would crush up the Tim Tams finer (I just crushed and chucked in). This way you’ll get your full pie look when the soft bit inside the biscuit starts to shrink,’ she wrote.

‘I would use two and a half to three Tim Tams per pie and put more fruit in. I feel my arteries hardening now.’

The pies were made using a $29 Kmart pie maker that is gaining popularity in cooking circles after users realised you can put pretty much anything in a pie press.

Creations so far have included using chunky beef soup to create an easy meat pie and onion soup and spinach to create a bob loaf pie.

Now that’s genius!
