This python learned an important lesson – don’t mess with a mama and her baby!
Sunshine Coast snake catcher Stuart McKenzie shared the incredible photos on his Facebook page.
The hungry snake tried to make a meal out of the little fella, but had to seriously fight for his dinner.
In the end, the slithery sucker was no match for the protective mother whose fury knew no bounds!
‘The snake ended up letting go and baby possum was fine. Mr Python had a few bite marks for his troubles. He wont mess with that possum again!’ Stuart wrote.
