A woman was saved from a terrifying shark attack when her husband punched the animal.
Frankie Gonsalves and her husband Dean were snorkelling close to the remote Ascension Island in the Atlantic Ocean when the shark bit Mrs Gonsalves on the leg.
Mr Gonsalves managed to fight off the shark by punching it in the head, reports The Independent.
His wife was rushed to the island’s tiny hospital where she was treated for bite wounds to her foot and calf.
She was then flown to the UK for further treatment.
