Frasier actor John Mahoney passes away at the age of 77

John Mahoney, best known for playing the beloved dad on hit series Frasier, has passed away at the age of 77.

Mahoney’s agent confirmed the news to TMZ.

The British actor famously played Martin Crane, the father of Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce’s characters, for 11 seasons of the iconic series.

Our thoughts are with the star’s family and friends.
