Woman calls 991 because there was not enough cheese on her pizza

This woman was so annoyed she called in the authorities!

There’s no denying that a cheese with not enough pizza is a problem – but an emergency?

According to police in Newfoundland, Canada, one resident felt her delivery was not cheesy enough – and rang the authorities. A baffled tweet from the RNC official Twitter describes the call as “legit”.

“I’m not sure if by calling us they assumed there was some sort of action we could take, or what the situation was, but of course we advised the individual they just needed to speak with the manager of the company and not the police” Constable Geoff Higdon of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary told CBC.

She was wrong to waste the time of the emergency services – but if there’s one thing we can agree on it’s that we’d love a piece of pizza right now!
