A 17-year-old has copped criticism after sharing a picture of a text exchange with her mum after discovering her mum’s birthday present.
Jenna Fluegeman’s mum had arranged for a special filter for the messaging app – Snapchat – to activate at Jenna’s school, letting people edit their photos to help celebrate her birthday.
When she texted her daughter, however, Jenna’s reply was ‘why would you do that?’
Clearly hurt, her mother asks if Jenna is mad before saying: ‘Sheesh, thought you would like it. I guess I just can’t do anything right. Whatever’

Twitter followers were quick to shake their heads at the teen for her ‘ungrateful’ response to her mum’s gift.
