Voice, a 20-year-old thoroughbred horse has turned up 13 days after being swept away in floodwaters in Clevedon, Auckland.

Earlier this week, the mare miraculously returned to a spot just metres from where she’d last been seen.
Discovered covered in sand, but otherwise in good shape, Voice’s carer, Liz Currie, was delighted with the reunion.
‘Where she came from, I have no idea. Because we scoured that part of the river over and over again,’ she told Fairfax.
‘I think she might have just earned herself a very long retirement,’ she added.
