Natasha Schofield, 47, tragically died while on a family holiday near New Caledonia.

‘You will always be with us x,’ her husband and children posted on the fundraising site which raises money for mental health awareness.

Schofield was travelling with her husband and three children who are aged 12 to 16.

While it was originally thought to be an accident, but after the search for the woman was underway, Queensland Police Inspector Rob Graham made an official statement, confirming the late mother’s death was intentional.

‘This wasn’t an accident,” he revealed to reporters. “Let’s be open and honest about mental health.’

‘It’s a tragic end to what should have been a lifetime holiday experience for a loving family.’
