A father and son were killed when their cars collided in a head-on smash.
Jeffrey Morris Brasher, 50, and his son, Austin Blaine Brasher, 22, crashed at 4.10am on Saturday.
Jeffrey Brasher’s Ford pickup collided with his son’s Chevrolet close to their home in Bankstown, Alabama.
It’s believed neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
Jeffrey Brasher died at the scene, while Austin died around five hours later in hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
Family members have posted emotional tributes to the pair on social media.
‘There are no words to describe the heartbreaking loss of losing both Jeff Brasher and Austin Brasher.
‘There is peace in knowing they are together but our hearts are heavy knowing that they are no longer here with us,’ wrote Pam Brasher.
