An 18-year-old woman is suing her parents for posting photos of her as a child on Facebook.
The unnamed teenager, from Austria, claims the images have made her life miserable, according to The Local Austria.
‘They knew no shame and no limit – and didn’t care whether it was a picture of me sitting on the toilet or lying naked in my cot – every stage was photographed and then made public,’ she was quoted saying.
She has reportedly asked her parents to remove over 500 images, but they refused. Her father is believed to have said that it is his right to publish the photos because he took them.
The teenager’s lawyer, Michael Rami, says that if it can be proved that the images violated his client’s right to a person life, she will win the case.
The case will be heard in November.
