You can use any small lollies or jellies to add to the features on the faces. Try using small jelly beans for noses, M & M’s for eyes, snakes cut down for mouths or even sour straps cut finely for hair!
Note:Â You’ll need 50 minutes to allow this to set.Â
Ingredients
Method
Grease and line the base and sides of a 20cm x 30cm slice pan with baking paper, allowing the two long sides to overhang.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat and add the Rice Bubbles, stirring quickly to combine.
Spoon mixture into prepared pan then using a buttered spatula or baking paper, press mixture evenly into pan. Set aside to cool completely.
Line a cooling rack with baking paper. Transfer slice to a board and cut in half lengthways. Cut each half into 6 rectangles, making some large and some smaller.
Dip half of the top of each rectangle into milk chocolate and the other half into white chocolate to represent the hair. Try dunking some in unusual ways i.e on the sides only or one corner then the other.
Using the writing icing and gels and the funny face figurines, decorate the rice treats to make them look like family or funny faces. Use any remaining melted chocolate to ‘stick’ the figurines on with. Let the kids help out.
Allow to set before serving.
