YouTube star Shonduras’ latest video of his wife ‘falling off a cliff’ has sparked criticism on the Internet.
The YouTuber, whose real name is Shaun McBride, recently uploaded footage, which shows his wife Jenny McBride slipping and rolling down a slope.
Titling the video as ‘JENNY FELL OFF THE TRAIL…scary moment for our family,’ Shonduras even added a ‘disturbing footage’ warning on the clip.
After the tumble, the video shows Shaun screaming out, ‘Jenny, Jenny! Oh my gosh,’ before running down to check on his wife.
Luckily, aside from a few bumps and bruises, the mum-of-two wasn’t seriously injured.
Speaking on camera after the scene, Jenny McBride could be seen sobbing, ‘I literally thought I was going to die. It was the scariest moment of my entire life.’
Shondrus, who has over a million subscribers, even filmed family members’ reactions as they watched Jenny’s falls.
But many fans have hit out, dubbing the video as ‘melodramatic’ and ‘click bait.’
Others poked fun at Shonduras, nicknaming him ‘Cliff Wife’.
In the description, Shonduras wrote that the video was ‘a very real reminder why we make everyday the BEST DAY EVER!’
