Woman is asking strangers for $10,000 so she can quit work to clean her room

It definitely looks like messy work!

A woman who went viral this week after posting a selfie in her messy room is now asking strangers for money so she can quit work and devote her time to cleaning!

American student, Alyssa Bordelon, caused quite the stir after posting a seemingly innocent photo of herself in a new black dress on Twitter.

But users were in disbelief about the state of her bedroom, with one even pointing out what looked to be a rat sitting on top of a pile of clothes!

After her post made headlines around the word, Alyssa is causing controversy again – this time setting up a GoFundMe account asking for $10,000.

The post, which has since been deleted, said she needed the money to cover her tuition at university so she could stop working and devote herself to cleaning.

‘Many of you have expressed concerns with the state of my apartment,’ she wrote.

‘I hear them. However, being an adult with adult expenses, it is sometimes difficult to find time to give attention to less pressing needs.’

‘This new internet fame I have encountered has given me a unique opportunity to make the most of my time. If I reach my goal ($10,000 = 1 year of tuition at my school), I will quit my second job and devote my life to cleanliness.’

Unsurprisingly, the number of people willing to donate was few with many people suggesting she go and buy some cleaning spray and bin bags instead!
