When a Sydney commuter saw a child drop her stuffed bunny, he sent out a heart-tugging plea to reunite the pair.
James Parker was on a train as it left Wynward station when the little girl let go of her toy, just as the train doors closed.
James said the scene left him feeling sad, so he posted a snap to Twitter of the bunny’s lonely train ride.
He sent the tweet to staff at Sydney Trains, and his post soon went viral.

People even started sharing pics of their own bunnies, saying they’d enlisted their help to track down the owner…
My two are also doing all they can to help out! They've been on the phone all arvo calling their relatives. Hope it works out! pic.twitter.com/uMOBIsJGoX

Thankfully, the bunny’s owner’s family came forward, and the pair were happily reunited.
We’re just glad this tale had a hoppy ending!
