A British mum-of-three has been identified as the woman straddling Shaun Edmondson in a SnapChat video which went viral.
The clip, filmed by fellow passengers, shows Edmondson, 31, – who was on his stag party while his heavily pregnant fiancee was at home – being straddled by Tracey Bolton, 39, on a flight from Manchester to Ibiza.
Daily Mail report that a Tracey told a friend: ‘I am absolutely mortified. What started as a bit of drunken madness has gone worldwide.
‘I am horrified but absolutely nothing happened. I haven’t stopped crying since I saw it. I am so embarrassed.’
The cafe owner from Colne, Lancashire, has had several friends back her up that the video was taken completely the wrong way.
Speaking to the Sun, friend Kirsty Lawton says: ‘Nothing really happened. She did a fully clothed lap-dance for a laugh, no sexy time occurred.
‘The pair of them were being daft and it was all for a laugh.’
Ryanair have released a statement following the viral video’s release, amid criticism that staff did nothing to stop the couple despite passengers becoming distressed.
‘We are looking into this matter. We will not tolerate unruly, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour at any time and any passengers who appear to behave in an unacceptable manner may be liable for further sanctions.’
